Age Appropriate Sports

Here are different sports geared for the age group of your child.

Preschoolers  - can run, jump, climb, ride a bike, kicking, tumbling, playin catch, swimming(parental guidance)  and dancing.

Ages 6 and 7 - gymnastics, swimming, softball, baseball, golf, track and field and martial arts

8 and older - contact sports and organized sports are ok as long as the child is wearing the appropriate protective gear.

 

There are many ways to get exercise: hiking, biking, swimming and just plain walking.  Go to a neighborhood park and get some exercise today.
