There was a little turtle (Make a fist with thumb sticking out)
He lived in a box. (Fingers together, thumbs together to form a box)
He swam through the puddles. (Put hands together flat and make swimming motion)
He climbed on the rocks. (Put hand out flat and put fist with thumb sticking out on top)
He snapped at a mosquito. (Make a biting motion with fingers and thumb)
He snapped at a flea, (Biting motion again)
He snapped at a minnow, (Biting motion again)
And he snapped at me. (Make biting motion toward self)
He caught the mosquito (Close hand into fist in catching motion)
He caught the flea, (Catching motion and close fist again)
He caught the minnow, (Catching motion and close fist again)
But he didn’t catch me. (Point to self then shake finger and head back and forth for “no”)
